Sewing Hope is a non-profit organization dedicated to the teaching economically challenged women pattern making garment construction and alterations so that they may be able to earn a living while staying at home with their children. Through this program they can improve their standard of living, work at home, learn a practical skill and improve their self-esteem. Foreign students will be able to develop English language skills.
Beverly Easterling, who oversees this project, has taught the
“Magic Fit” pattern sewing course in Vietnam, Thailand,
Ecuador and Cuba.
